Academy of World Champion Nestor Folta (AWCNF) is an authentic and traditional Uechi-Ryu Okinawan Karate School located in Fairfax, Virginia; USA. Seven-time World Champion Nestor Folta is the head instructor. The program takes students of any age from white belt to black belt at various locations in the Northern Virginia area. Our Mission is to make our students more successful in life through their practice of Uechi-Ryu at our school. We do this by teaching our karate as a complete discipline (mind, body, spirit), which in addition to developing physical defense, encourages the formation of high personal standards and respect for fellow men and women, boys and girls. Through our practice and teaching, and our total personnel development student service culture, we strive to produce individuals who are positive, respected, and contributing members of society.
